I have an HP Pavilion dv6000. It's a laptop.
I've only had it for a year.

Never had a problem with it really, other then it overheating.
But now my keyboard is giving me grief. I am typing slow now so that all the letters actually type.
If I type too fast, letters go missing. It's like my fingers are too quick for the keys.

If I tye normaly ths is wha happes....

Letters go missing....I can go back and re-type them, but it sure is starting to piss me off. What could be doing this?

It's almost like my keys are lagging. If I type slow, no problems...

I would say reinstall the driver but it sounds more like it could be just worn out
Did you ever spill soda pop or coffee /sugar on it?
If you try an auxillary keyboard, does it do the same thing?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

Never spilled anything on it before, no. I just scanned with ad aware and it found some kind of trojan, I deleted it.
This is what it was...

C:\Windows\System32\BttnCmns32.dll

Not sure if this is causing my problem....
