Hello all, I am new to this board, and computers for that matter, but I am wondering if someone could help me. I recently ran the AVG viris scan and found out that I have a trojan horse virus. The scan got rid of all of it except one. The name of it is C:\WINN\javaoo32.exe does anyone know how to get rid of this?

Did you run AVG in safe mode?
Did AVG quarantine it or give you any error messages?
Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.

Try running Sysclean you'll also need the virus template file from here lpt***.zip

Also try running A2 Free and Ewido

I'd also run Spybot and Adaware

If you still can't get rid of it submit a hijackthis log here.

How to submit a hijackthis log

Download Hijackthis
