ive got windows live messenger but it freezes after i log in...im using ebuddy atm but id like to have a messenger instead. im running on windows XPx64 if this has anything to do with it

From what I read on their site for system requirements, it says that XP 64-bit aren't supported (of course, oddly enough, they're supported on the 64-bit versions of Vista and Windows 7....:thumbsup: )

Or you could use a multi platform messenger that has 64 bit support like Trillian
