Hi,

I'm currently working with someone else on these forums with a Rootkit problem I'm having on my PC.

They instructed me to go to this site and download Avira Anti Rootkit tool:

http://www.free-av.com/en/tools/4/avira_an...otkit_tool.html

After I download the zip file to my desktop, I cannot extract it. When I attempt to, it states that it is corrupt or invalid.

Can someone else attempt to download this and extract the zip and let me know if you are successful? Or possibly help me figure out what the problem is?

Thanks!

I have contacted Avira in hopes of finding what is wrong as I also cannot open it.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

I also contacted Avira about this problem and I received a response today from Avira stating the problem has been fixed.

I just checked the link again and attempted to extract the contents of the zip file, and the problem still exists.

I replied to the email informing Avira that this is still an issue.
