Just wanted to drop a quick note of thanks in regards to this topic:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/200931/windows-update-goes-to-google/

We'd been dealing with this for about 2 weeks and were about to the point of reformatting, then I stumbled across this post. I couldn't believe it was EXACTLY the same thing we were experiencing. After 2 weeks of stressing over the inevitable doom of a reformat, here's a solution that not only WORKED, but only took about 5 minutes to complete!
Even though we were having the same problems with both computers on our network, we noticed the issues a couple of days apart and it just never occurred to me that it was a problem with the router and not some virus or malware on the computers that we'd both picked up.

So thanks posters, and thanks BleepingComputer - you've made my weekend! :flowers:
