My computer is running like "bleepe" so tonight I finally discovered an ABI Aurora Network program (some kind of Trojan thing?) listed in my add/remove programs list, which I just learned I AM UNABLE TO UNINSTALL (a little piece of innocence lost tonight folks, yes indeed). In any event, I downloaded HijackThis and did a scan via a friend's instruction. Before I remove any of these exe files tho', I saved the log and am now BEGGING someone to look at this list and tell me what I can safely delete. My PC HP Laptop is barely running right now, I'm thrilled I'm even able to get on the internet long enough to be able to write this message.

THanks to any and all who might take the time to browse this list and tell me what is malicious. I know there must be quite a few in this list.

Hello miaokitty and welcome to BleepingComputer.

Please open Ewido Security Suite and UNcheck "Realtime Protection". Close Ewido. You can turn this back on later.

Configure Windows to enable viewing of Hidden and System files.

Start HJT and click on the SCAN button. Put a check mark in front of the following lines if they still show:

With ALL OTHER WINDOWS CLOSED, click on Fix Checked.

Open Windows Explorer (Windows key+e), navigate to and delete the following files and folders (Don't be concerned if they can not be found):

C:\WINDOWS\wuamgrd.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\wuamgrd.exe

If any of these resist being deleted, boot into Safe Mode and try from there.

Reboot and post a new HijackThis log. Are things running any better?

Deeerrrffff-

I just checked to see if I'd gotten any responses, and I'm at work. As soon as I get home I will carefully follow your instructions, and pray that it helps. I ran the ewido suite last week, and have noticed that it's a running a little better. But I will try your suggestions also, and see what happens, in case the earlier purge had overlooked anything.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help. You guys are AWESOME for helping people out like this. I'm too broke to buy help, and too stupid to figure it out myself.
