I found how to fix my computer from a virus it had but now I have several programs downloaded that I may not need anymore. I have AVG as my anti-virus and also have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, ATF-Cleaner, Super Antispyware, and ComboFix. I also read that I might need Spywareblaster to protect against unwanted cookies. Do I need to remove any of these? Also, do I need to make sure the ones I leave are running to insure active protection? Thanks for your help.

Remove Combofix
  • Click START then RUN
  • Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK
notice the space between x and /

The others are on-demand scanners, not real-time
They only run when prompted to

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
