Hi All,

I have a quick question which someone may possibly be able to help me out with.

I have a backup script using ntbackup. (Windows Server 2003)

does anyone know of a way to confirm if the job has been successful and/or check the registry to see if there is a confirmed event log.

I ask this as i use blat to send an email report and it would make life easier if i could use an if statement to select the subject of the email containing the report.

Thanks for any help recieved.

Hi Monty,

I know i can go into event logs to check, but as it stand i have a backup report emailed to me from over 60 different sites, i'm trying to make my life easier by modifiying my report by if the job has completly successfully or failed.
I have had any idea to script it to do what i want i will post it up once i have finished.
