I'm trying to fix my roommates computer, but I am not too familiar with ME, he tried to start it up today, and it went into safe mode...
I have done everything I can think of to put this thing back into normal, but even when I tell it to go normal(Option 1) it still goes straight into safe, or locks up and gives me what I now not so affectionately call the white screen of death. Anyone out there know what needs to be done? All help is appreciated.

Hi buddy
This is the only solution that comes to my head.

1. Start>run
2. Type msconfig
3. Select the tab boot.ini
4. Verify that the /SAFEBOOT box is unchecked.
5. If it is checked...mmm.... uncheck it!!!

Well that's what I would do...
Hope this solution works...
