Hi
My neighbour has been hit by the virus htmladvera and has had his browser hijacked

Have run adaware to no avail and both NAV and online NAV have picked up nothing. (Housecall at Trendmicro picked up the htmladvera but I have been unable to find any removal tool solutions for this one on the web)

the hijackthis log is as follows

one of the 02s and several of the 04s look pretty sus - can someone please confirm which entries to delete?

thanks for your help!

I want you to fix some of those entries. Please do the following:

Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

How to see hidden files in Windows

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then click the Fix button

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode and delete the following files:

Then delete these files or directories (Do not be concerned if they do not exist)

C:\WINDOWS\YHGEZ.DLL

C:\WINDOWS\leodft.exe
C:\WINDOWS\jfdo.exe
C:\WINDOWS\gdowca.exe
