I have a problem with MSmoney, it's an older version but has until now been reliable and effective, the problem is
> MSMONEY caused a general protection fault in module KRNL386.EXE at 0001.2BEA <

and asks for the program to be closed, then on restarting goes through a repair procedure

> microsoft money needs to make some minor repairs to the file 'MSMONEY.MNY' before opening, or you can open a different file. Do you want microsoft money to repair this file. yes. no.<

doing the repair makes no difference the fault reoccurs, so is this something that can be sorted or do I need a newer version?
