Formatting Problem

I cant format my pc. After setting bios setup for boot priority, it starts windows setup. But suudenly it shows a message. "Kernel Debugger DLL" files cannot copy. after that a msg again "File setupdd.sys could not be loaded.the error code is 4. Please help me

Have set the BIOS to boot from CD 1st?
Are you trying to boot from XP installation CD or other ??

First try cleaning the disk.
Wash it gently with luke warm water & mild dish soap.
Dry gently from the inside out in a straight line.
[don't go around the disk in a circle]
Try the disk.

If it still doesn't work your CD drive is in the early stages of failing.
Let the disk start
When you get the error message wait a few minutes & click retry.
Sometimes after the drive cools a bit it will continue.
You may have to do that many times to get Windows installed.

The best bet would be to simply change the drive.

Ya i did set in bios to boot from cd 1st
i am trying to boot from XP SP2 CD
