After using Spybot and Ad-Aware... I'm still getting pop-ups. So I ran HiJackThis and here's the log. Hopefully something can be found :thumbsup: and thank you for taking the time to look this over.

Hello,

Uninstall via add/remove next:

vbrundll
AutoUpdate

REBOOT

* Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

O2 - BHO: Band Class - {01F44A8A-8C97-4325-A378-76E68DC4AB2E} - C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: VBRunDLL Class - {197B8CA4-E215-46DD-8F33-E0544A80E5C4} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\vbrundll.dll
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2CDE1A7D-A478-4291-BF31-E1B4C16F92EB} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PSof1] C:\WINDOWS\System32\PSof1.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [regsync] C:\WINDOWS\System32\regsync.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Win Server Updt] C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Nsv] C:\WINDOWS\System32\nsvsvc\nsvsvc.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AutoUpdater] "C:\Program Files\AutoUpdate\AutoUpdate.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [qFES3qQ] smsnt.exe

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

* Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them if still present:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\nsvsvc <== folder
C:\WINDOWS\System32\PSof1.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\regsync.exe
C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe
C:\Program Files\AutoUpdate <== folder

* Reboot your system.

Post back a fresh HijackThis log and I'll take another look.

If you had any problems with deleting files or noticed any other problems during your fix, let me also know in your next reply.

Thank you for your reply... the only thing I had a problem doing was the uninstalling of AutoUpdate as it wasn't listed. But I did everything else and here is a new log. Another note, I found The ABI Network - A Division of Direct Revenue on my list of add/delete programs. I've heard of it creating pop-ups but thought I had gotten rid of it before. Not sure if that's good info for you or not.

Hello,

Check and fix next in hijackthis again:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D2554441-5254-E790-D9B4-A809B0BA69F0} - C:\DOCUME~1\CHILDR~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\[ProgramFiles]\cdmweb\gflnosscuh.dll

Look in your C:\Windows\ en search for a file called abiuninst.html and delete it.

Then open hijacthis, click config (bottom right) > misc Tools > uninstall manager.
Search in that list for The ABI Network - A Division of Direct Revenue, select it and choose Delete this entry

*Delete Temp Files
To clean out your temp files, click on Start and then run, and type %temp% and press the ok button.

This should open up the temp directory that your machine uses. Please delete all files that are found there. If you get an error when deleting a file, skip that file and delete all the others.

*Delete Temporary Internet Files
Now I want you to open up Internet Explorer, and click on the Tools menu and then Internet Options. At the General tab, which should be the first tab you are currently on, click on the Delete Files button and put a checkmark in Delete offline content. Then press the OK button. This may take quite a while, so do not be alarmed with how long it takes. When it is done, your Temporary Internet Files will now be deleted.

Reboot and post a last hijackthislog as a final checkup.

How are things going now?

Hello, next is still there though...:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D2554441-5254-E790-D9B4-A809B0BA69F0} - C:\DOCUME~1\CHILDR~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\[ProgramFiles]\cdmweb\gflnosscuh.dll

Are your hidden files and folders visible?

Click Start.
Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.

Also, I see you are running Teatimer.
I suggest you to disable it because it can interfere with the changes you'll make on your system.
When everything is done and your log is clean again, you can enable it again.
If teatimer gives you a warning afterwards that some changes were made, allow this instead of blocking it.
How to disable TeaTimer during HijackThis Cleanup

Now check and fix next entry in hijackthis:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D2554441-5254-E790-D9B4-A809B0BA69F0} - C:\DOCUME~1\CHILDR~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\[ProgramFiles]\cdmweb\gflnosscuh.dll

Now search for and delete the entire content of next folder manually:

C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\CHILDR..\LOCAL SETTINGS\Temp <== this content.

Reboot and post a new hijackthislog.

Let me know if you could delete the contents of the entire temp-folder

Ok, sorry. I made the mistake in showing the hidden files. Everything is right now though. And Teatimer is disabled now. Thank you.

After running my last hijackthis log doesn't include the 02-BHO: entry... here's the log.

Looks good.

You may reenable your teatimer again. :thumbsup:

To keep this clean in the future, I would suggest the following things:

Install Spywareblaster
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.

Avoid illegal sites, because that's where most malware is present.

Let your antispywarescanner(s) scan frequently and don't forget to update before.

And I do suggest you perform an online virusscan once in a while. (Kaspersky online and/or Bitdefender). Because what one virusscanner can't find another one maybe can.
Also make sure that your virusscanner, the one that is installed on your system is always up to date!

Make sure your windows has the latest updates: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
