Hi, i have the next problem:
After a power cut on the building the PC haven't started up again. When i plug it to the power source it automatically power up without push the power switch button!!, but no beep happens, the monitor is all black but the DVDrom, CPU fan and Hard Disk start running. All the cables inside are well plugged. I tried plugging the PSU with the cables of the Power Switch unplugged but it still power up automatically.
Can someone help me with this?
The motherboard is and ASUS M2N-MX SE.
Thanks in advance!

It sounds like the power supply, motherboard, or both have been damaged.

yeah, I would check both the PSU and the motherboard, and go from there. Start with the PSU, either have it tested or swap it out with another if available, then go to the motherboard if that doesnt work.

Thanks for the replies. I bought a new PSU, but it is still doing the same: when i plug the PSU to the power source everything start to run without push the power switch!, but no beep happens and the screen is all black. I think that maybe the motherboard is in short circuit, so i might change it to see if it is the problem.
