registry restore

my system went down and I needed to restore the system registry. Is there a way to restore the registry from the saves (backups) made by combofix? I have the files but do not know how to use them.

I believe that ComboFix uses ERUNT to backup the registry. There is information on how to use the backups on ERUNT's website.
