My computer recently has this weird error that pops up upon startup, which makes the ''explorer.exe'' close periodically. I downloaded SDFix, everything was going smooth until the required restart. I cannot go to the login page of XP in normal mode, it just comes up with a blue screen saying that my login is dead. I have to restart using the safe mode for the SDFix to finish up. Now the screen just says:

Finishing Malware Check
Please be Patient as this part may take several minutes..
the filename, directory name, or volyme label syntax is incorrect
Unable to open the file "C:\WINWOS\temp\SDFIX_filecheck\setup.exe''
Unable to open the file "C:\WINWOS\temp\SDFIX_filecheck\setup.exe''

Nothing else is happening, and i have given it a long wait already. Is the program still doing its job, or has the unablity to open those files stopped the program from running.

Secondly, the explorer.exe crashes in safe mode too, i have to manually start it in Task manager each time.

What can i do?
