I recently picked up a virus while "updating" my Adobe video player. Got rid of the virus but managed to keep three files that redirected every Google search from Firefox. Read everything here on redirected searches, found & deleted the files with ComboFix, and can use my machine again.

NOTE: ComboFix is a "last resort" program. If you choose to use it, go through the steps listed under virus removal.
