I use Windows XP at home on my laptop.
On startup, I get 2 messages that repeat several times. The first popup is that Data Execution has detected a problem in wuauclt.exe, and will close the program. The second is that wuauclt.exe is closing, and do I want to send an report to Microsoft.
These two messages appears at least 20 times.
I turned off the Windows automatic update through control panel->security center, but it has not helped.
I seem to be able to use the computer alright, although it is somewhat slower.
This just started a few days ago.
Can anyone offer any help?
