I have installed a Sound Blaster X Fi Xtreme Audio sound card which is working fine. I want to connect to Hi Fi speakers. Obviously I will need an amplifier. Can someone tell me which connections to use on the sound card - what leads I will need and how to connect to 2.1 or 5.1 speaker system? Do I need to concern myself with I/p and o/p impedance of any amp I might buy, and any suggestions as to a reasonably priced amp with a view only to playing music?
I would be most grateful if some techy could put me right.

Gratefully

Are you planning on being a commercial DJ? or is this just for your own personal use?
