Hi, SickNic,

Thank you for waiting patiently.
You did not mention which removal programs you have run.

Please run these scans (If you have already done this, with these configurations, skip down to the online AV scan.):
Ad-aware *
Download Ad-aware version SE Personal 1.06 from here:
Download from:
http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html
Install by double-clicking on the downloaded file.
If you have a previous version of Ad-Aware installed, during the installation of the new version you will be prompted to uninstall or keep the older version - be sure to uninstall the previous version. After installing Ad-aware, you will be prompted to update the program and run a full scan. De-select all boxes so that it does not run. If you already have Ad-aware Second Edition skip to the next step.
Manually run "Ad-Aware SE Personal" and from the main screen Click on "Check for Updates Now".
Click the 'Connect'-button and, if there are new updates, click 'OK' and then 'Finish'.
Once the definitions have been updated:
Do NOT scan with the program yet.
Please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by immediately tapping the F8 key (or F5 on some computers)
Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press the Enter key.
Once in Safe Mode, launch Ad-Aware, and press Start > Next to let it scan your drives...
It will find a number of "bad" files and registry keys. Press 'Next'
Right-click in that results pane and choose "select all"
Press "Next" again
It will ask you whether you'd like to remove all checked items. Click OK.
Finally, close Ad-Aware, and start your computer normally.

Spybot S&D*
** Spybot has a new version 1.4 available.
** If you already have Spybot 1.3 update to version 1.4.
Before installing Spybot S&D 1.4 remove 1.3 like this:
Open 1.3 . Go to Immunize. Click on UNDO at the top. At the bottom, take the checkmark OUT of "BrowserHelper> "Enable permanent blocking..."
This will disable all protection. Make sure ALL has been disabled.
If you are using Spybot's TeaTimer disable all protection there as well.
If Opera Browser is installed, de-select protection for Opera Immunity
Then go to Add/Remove programs via Start>Settings>Control Panel and REMOVE Spybot.
Reboot
Go to your Program Files and delete the old Spybot folder.
Delete the old desktop icon.
Then you are ready to install the new version.

Download Spybot S&D 1.4 here:
http://safer-networking.org/en/news/2005-05-31.html
or
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2471.html

Install by double-clicking on the downloaded file.
Run Spybot S&D from desktop icon or Start menu.
Press "Search for updates" button to get list of updates available.
Press "Download updates" button.
Close all IE windows and close & restart Spybot S&D.
Press "Check for problems" button.
Have SpyBot remove all it marks in RED by pressing "Fix selected problems".
Close Spybot S&D, reboot your system.

Free online Anti-virus scans:

Housecall: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
Let it remove what it finds. Make sure your IE security is NOT blocking the ActiveX download . (It takes a long time for the Active-X to download prior to the scan... be patient as you may think nothing is happening. The download is especially slow if you are on dial-up.)

Panda: http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/
Be sure to put a check in the box by "Auto Clean" before you do the scan. If it finds anything that it cannot clean have it delete it or make a note of the file location so you can delete it yourself.

Panda Details:
Click on "Scan your PC"
A box will pop-up, click "Next"; Then, type in your email address and click "Send"
Select your Country and State/Region. Click "Start"
A message may appear asking you to agree to the installation of ActiveX components on your system, click "Yes".
Please make sure all five options are checked and then click "All my computer"
Another box will pop-up, click "Close". Your scan should then begin.
When it is finished, please click "See Report" then click "Save Report"
Please post the contents of the saved file.

We cannot use your HJT until it is moved to a folder of its own where it can save backups.
Rightclick on an empty space on your desktop and choose New > Folder
Name it HijackThis (HJT, or whatever)
Rightclick HijackThis.exe, choose Cut.
Doubleclick (to open) the folder you created.
Rightclick inside and choose Paste.
Then scan with HJT, and please post a new log. Thanks.

Thanks for moving HJT. Now we can put the tool to work. You will be working in Safemode part of the time, so you might want to print these instructions.

First, please download CCleaner:
http://www.ccleaner.com/

Once installed, run CCleaner:
Click the Windows tab

Select the following:
Internet Explorer:
Temp Internet
History
Recently Typed URLs
Delete Index.dat files

System:
Empty Recycle Bin
Temporary Files
Memory Dumps
Chkdsk File Fragments
Old Prefetch Data

Next: Click Options. Click Advanced
Uncheck: "Only delete files older than 48 hrs.". Click OK.

UNCHECK all other defaults listed on the:
Issues and Applications tabs.

EXIT CCleaner. Do not run a scan. We will do that later.

Let's make sure Microsoft Anti-Spyware does not keep us from making changes to the registry.
1. Right-click on the Microsoft Anti-Spyware icon in the system tray [it's the one with the red and yellow bulls-eye].
2. Click on "Security Agents Status".
3. Click on "Disable real-time protection".

Next right-click on the Microsoft Anti-Spyware icon in the system tray again to open Microsoft Anti-Spyware.

1. Click on the Options menu and choose Settings.
2. In the left pane column click on "Real Time Protection".
3. Under Startup Options, uncheck "Enable (MSAS) Security Agents on startup (recommended)"
4. Under Real-time spyware threat protection, uncheck and "Enable real-time spyware threat protection" (recommended).
5. Click the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Finally, right-click on the MSAS icon in the system tray and select "Shutdown Microsoft Antispyware".
After your system is fully cleaned reenable MSAS using the same steps but this time reverse them.

Please boot into Safemode:
Turn on the computer.
Immediately begin tapping the F8 key (or F5 on some computers)
Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press the Enter key.

Configure to show all files/folders:
Go to Start>Search and at the top select Tools>Folder Options
Select the View tab
Display the contents of system folders
Show hidden files and folders
Uncheck: Hide protected operating system files
Click on Apply.
Next go to the side of the Search box and select All files and folders. Go down to More advanced options.
Be sure the first three boxes are selected:
Search System folders
Search Hidden Files and folders
Search SubFolders

Launch HijackThis and tick these:
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {4A25D449-2BAA-4426-A992-D18CA70CF5A9} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ryr.dll
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [LDM] \Program\BackWeb-8876480.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [5nhu2.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\5nhu2.exe /k
O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [5nhu2.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\5nhu2.exe /k

These items are optional to fix. they use resoruces and are unnecessary to be running at Start.
Fixing them here will not prevent you from opening them manually if needed.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UpdReg] C:\WINDOWS\UpdReg.EXE
(A small program that reminds you to register your Creative Labs product (i.e. sound card, video card). Unnecessary.)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] \"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe\" -osboot
(RealPlayer scheduler)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_02\bin\jusched.exe
(Sun Java update scheduler. Checks for updates.)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvMediaCenter] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\NvMcTray.dll,NvTaskbarInit
(Nvidia system tray applet.)

O4 - Global Startup: Adobe Gamma Loader.lnk = C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Calibration\Adobe Gamma Loader.exe
(Adjusts monitor colours across all programs, including Photoshop. It is needed by some graphics professionals who want their monitor calibrated. Most home users will not need it, and thus should remove this entry. )

O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OSA.EXE
( Microsoft Office startup assistant.)

Close all windows except HJT and click "Fix Checked".

Delete the following specified files IF they still exist:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ryr.dll <--file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\5nhu2.exe <--file

Reboot normally.

Go back and hide System Files:
Go to Start>Search and at the top select Tools>Folder Options
Select the View tab
Display the contents of system folders
Check: Hide protected operating system files
Click on Apply.

Please open CCleaner and click Run Cleaner (bottom right). Then Exit (reboot)

Please post a fresh HJT log. Thanks.

As always, it would be good to print these instructions.
You seem to have some files that don't want to depart. Microsoft Anti-spyware is still running. Please disable it as instructed above until our fix is completely over, and all bad files no longer show up.

Download Pocket Killbox: http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.exe

Open Killbox and checkmark *delete on reboot* and paste this file name into the box where it say *Full path of File to delete*
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ryr.dll

It will ask you to confirm you want to delete on reboot - answer *Yes*

A second message will ask if you should reboot now -- answer 'No'.

To add the next file:
Click on the folder icon to browse to C:\WINDOWS\system32\5nhu2.exe.
When you find it click on it, it adds the full path & file to the white box, then press the Red button to delete.
After you have added the last file, when it asks if you want to reboot, answer *yes*

Go back into Safemode, run HJT, and fix:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {4A25D449-2BAA-4426-A992-D18CA70CF5A9} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ryr.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [5nhu2.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\5nhu2.exe /k
O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [5nhu2.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\5nhu2.exe /k
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [LDM] \Program\BackWeb-8876480.exe

Close all windows and click "Fix Checked".

Reboot normally ... please post another HJT log. Thanks.
