Sorry I'v been a dumb ass and posted this is the wrong place and can't figure out how to delete it or move it to the anti virus or antispamming category - hopefully Admin will shift it - sorry for putting this in the wrong place!!

My machine started slowing down and the hard drive was constantly making noises, also the mouse became over sensitive and my buttons below my Dell Inspiron 640m would not work properly.

I could not update Prevx or AVG8.5 as I kept getting messages saying the server was unavailable or I did not have permission so I started looking around and read lots of positive comments about Combofix and thbis is why I ended up at this site and joined the forum.

I downloaded Combofix and installed it I was asked to remove AVG and for some reason whatever I did it would not unistall so I manually installed as much of it as I could and despite the warnings from Combofix that it could still detect it I ran Combofix and my machine seems at present to be running faster, mouse and bottons also working fine.

When I finished the scan I reread the guide at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix which said I should post the report onto this site so I presume the genius helper who can make sense of the report below might find this and repond with anything else I need to do. Thanking you in anticipation and thanks to the guys/girls who created combofix - you rock!!
Nic

Hello nic1988

Please note the message text in blue at the top of the Am I infected? What do I do? forum.

ComboFix logs should not to be posted outside the HijackThis forums and then only when requested by a HJT Team member. It is an extremely powerful tool which should only be used when instructed to do so by someone who has been properly trained. ComboFix is intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for private use. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.

Please create a new topic explaining the nature of your problem in the Am I infected? What do I do? forum. Describe pop-ups and system tray or desktop icons that have appeared. Explain what is "going wrong" with your computer. Note any tools you have used and their respective results.

If needed, we will direct you to our HJT Preparation Guide.

Thank you for using BleepingComputer as your malware removal source.
