I use a site called Gamefaqs, which contains thousands of guides for video games. Whenever you click on a link, the database loads up the .txt file in a window, the guide that the user has submitted.

Now, when I open one of these .txt files in my browser, the window becomes very sluggish and even freezes. It only occurs when I have a .txt file running in my Internet window.

Any suggestions on what is causing this?
