Deltron 3030.
Mac Dre.
Matt and Kim.
and of course Red Museum.

What about you? Anything I should look up? I'm into most types of music, rock, rap, hardcore, classical, lots of indie. Just trying to find something new.

In my book, yes, it is an old book, nobody but nobody comes close to the great Stevie Nicks.

stang777...my book is an old one as well.....
GrandFunk...Lynyrd Skynyrd....Jimi Hendrix....Journey......Steve Perry( his latest Cd is awsome!! "For the Love of Strange medicine")
Benny Mardones.....
I like pretty much all kinds of music..with a few exceptions....
Shine Down did a remake of Skynyrds "Simpleman"..as a general rule i don't much care for remakes, BUT they did this one justice!!
somebody really needs to smack axel rose in the haid for his remake of "Dylans" "Knockin on heaven's Door"
IMHO he butchered it, I refuse to listen to it....
Dylan has written alot of great song's!!
"Watch Tower" comes to mind right now....done by Hendrix...
as for Country
Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood,Wynonna Judd,Sara Evan's,Brooks and Dunn,Toby Keith,Garth Brooks,craig Morgan,Doug Stone, to just name a few..
Mostly i like 70's stuff..it's all good...LOL

MisPlaced, we seem to have the same taste in music, thanks for the recommendation on Steve Perrys latest one, I will have to get it as I love him

Even though I am really not into country, I even like all those country artist that you mentioned, as well as Tanya Tucker.

Geeze, even though I read through my posts before sending them, after I send them I always seem to find I have left out a word in my posts causing me to have to edit them, grrrr, lol.

I'm not sure what I'm into.....usually just J-pop/J-rock, then some musical soundtracks from games/movies/anime, a few tracks of latin (usually originating from Final Fantasy games), a couple tracks of russian songs (not sure exactly.....techno rock??? They both come from an anime), only something like two English songs that I listen to, and one Swedish song.

But any specific bands......not really. I don't follow in that sort of fashion......

:flowers: I don't actually like it that much. But if I named myself Dookie or Nimrod people would NEVER think of green day. I only like their old stuff for the most part.

Lots of great bands mentioned, but Jim Morrison and the Doors are my all time fav.
He wouldn't even change one word from Light My Fire for Ed Sullivan.
