Hi all, pesky issue i've been having for the past week or so. Whenever I go to hibernate or put my laptop in stand by, it just freezes at the Windows "preparing to hibernate/stand by" screen.

I've tried deleting the hiberfile.sys file by disabling hibernation, rebooting, and re-enabling it, but this does not correct the issue. Anyone have any other ideas?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

Thanks for the reply Garmanma, I re-installed the video driver but it did not resolve the issue.
