I did a repair install of xp. Now when I start up the computer under each of my families name a window will popup saying "status" and wants the status cd. I have no idea what this is. When I cancel it it keeps coming up over and over. What is it and how do I get rid of it? Thanks

Try this, Uninstall your anti-virus program & reinstall it.

If memory serves me right I got the "status" popup after a repair & it was the AV program.
