I ran my puter through the Millennial without a firewall or anti-virus and visited every single website and tried any other form of telecommunication on the net (well, a lot of them then). I played muds, and still do. Somebody did steal my identity once back when, but since I mostly have nothing important to do and am typing this with a song in my heart, they probably gave up trying to prosper on my pathetic credentials. I got a firewall after slightly embarrassing personal information appeared (parenthetically) in a local newspaper forum. Later, I found my first virus and came to this site to learn about removing those, etc.
I learned algebra to further my gaming, and to code, at least the logic of code, and pointless game languages. So I am a geek I suspect, just not one of those well paid ones. (I did not rightfully pass algebra in high school, as my sister was dating my small town math teacher)
I know a lot about plants. Feel free to direct plant questions to my mailbox.
Presently, all I am doing is stripping Hewlett Packard from my Windows XP, and pursuing a new, higher level of security. I am not all that good, just seems fun.
Hey, everyone, Hi and I hope your weather is the best!
