Double-Click Problem

I have a problem when I try to open a folder. When I try to open a folder, instead of open, it opens in a new explorer window, I already tried to return to default the options but it don't works. Well I hope somebody can help me.

Does it open with the proper information in the new file?

Yes it opens with the proper information and before that the problem appeared I used the Tweak UI to rebuild the icon cache

You English is quite respectable.
Are you single clicking the folder or double clicking it to get a dialogue box?
What version of Windows are you using?

I'm double-clicking the folder, and even if I use the key "enter" instead of using the mouse, the same thing happens.

P.D. Do you really think that about my english?

I forgot something, I'm using Windows XP Professional with the Service Pack 2 installed.

Have you tried clicking on Tools -> Folder Options, then, under the General tab, the Browse section, make sure the "Open Each Folder in the Same Window" is checked?
