Hi tpsnyder88,

I'm Judicandus and I'll be giving you a hand.

First of all, your log doesn't seem complete. Usually the last line of a HJT log file is something like this:
End of file - 9653 bytes

Are you sure you posted the complete log?

Its really not a fast computer what so ever (1.6 ghz 198mb ram and its on SP2)

I would strongly recommend you to upgrade your RAM memory to at least 512 RAM. Once the RAM memory is completely used, the computer starts to use your Hard Disk instead (through a Paging file) which has a much slower read/write speed slowing down your whole system and I think that just by running Windows XP + Norton Antivirus puts your RAM at its limit.

You should definitely install SP3 and all critical updates.
Go to Microsoft's windows update site
and do all Critical Updates.

*******************************************

Disable Ad-Aware Ad-Watch or it will interfere.
1. Right click on the Ad-Watch icon in the system tray.
2. At the bottom of the screen there will be two checkable items called "Active" and "Automatic".
Active: This will turn Ad-Watch On\Off without closing it
Automatic: Suspicious activity will be blocked automatically
3. Uncheck both of those boxes.

(When done, you can re-enable it using the same steps but this time check both boxes.)

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan.
The scan may take some time to finish, so please be patient.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Extra Note)
The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

Copy and Paste the entire Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.

If you encounter this message:"c:\program files\malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamext.dll Unable to register the dll/ocx: RegSvr32 failed with exit code 0x5" Click on ignore mbamext.dll

*******************************************

Download Security Check by screen317 from here or here.
Save it to your Desktop.
Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt.
Please post the contents of that document.
