Hi, when i turn on my pc its displaying a blue screen, it states theres is a problem with a file called 'ialmrnt5' which is a dll file and that 'the device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly,Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates.

the operating system is windows xp media center edition. I thought it may be to do with the Intel Graphics drivers so i've tried to update the chipset but it wont accept the one i exyracted from the intel website. My chipset is 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family.

i've rebooted 4-5 times but the blue screen keeps appearing, i am able to log into safe mode but cannot access internet, im using my laptop to access the internet now.

Can you please help and let me know what the problem is and how i can fix it.

Thanks

Trish.

You're usually better to download the driver from the computer manufacturer's support site instead of Intel
What is the make and model of the computer?
