Ok, just recently I am unable to send e-mail. I have a yahoo account and the only thing I'm allowed to do is check my e-mail. I can no longer reply, compose, or delete my e-mail. Everytime I click on compose or delete nothing happens. It's as if only certain buttons work on my computer. It's not only my e-mail either that's also other websites. Some buttons or drop down boxes are blank or don't work anymore. Can someone explain what could be the cause?? I am truly stumped!!

This seems to be related to your other post about needing plugins.

yeah, now if I only knew which plug-ins I needed I'd be good to go. LoL I know nothing about plug-ins and what each of them do, nor do I really care. I'm just concerned about the one I need. I don't need to get even more confused than I already am.

I SUSPECT that you need Java plug ins. You can download the latest version of JRE (Java runtime environment) at:

Well, if it isn't one thing it's a freakin' other! I tried to download Java and this Windows Installer message pops up saying that the installation package could not be opened and that I have to verify something. WHAT?!?! What does that mean? How do I do that?

WHAT do you have to verify?
Always provide the membership with the exact text of any error messages.
Thanks
John

Ok the entire Error Message Says:

Windows Installer
This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the
package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application
vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.
