Hi, i'm running Windows 7 RC1100 and Visual Studio 2008 SP1. Everytime i try to create a project in C#, i get the error:

"error while trying to run project: could not load file or assembly (app name) or one of its dependencies. the module was expected to contain an assembly manifest"

whenever i try to run a .net program it doesnt work either. trying to install the .net framework just tells me its already installed.

running Visual C++ also doesnt allow me to build the program.

halp?

According to the error message, you are missing a library.

Visual C++ also doesnt allow me to build the program

C# and C++ are two completely different languages.

I can't tell you what the problem is without seeing your code.

Your applications require that the proper includes be used in your project.
