Hi there guys, i am starting to get into video converting and wondering is there any video converting software out there that out performs "avs video converter", i have information that "avs" is very good. I am looking for a high end market software for great quality. I am willing to pay that little extra. I dont want any software for free as i am past all of this" free download hype" . Thanks in advance Grassy

You should really try Yasa mp4 video converter, it converts from and to many video formats. It can also convert avi to audio format (like mp3,wav etc), can split avi files. And the output quality is really good.

The best converter for me (but not free) its Xilisoft's. You can download a trial version from http://www.xilisoft.com.
