I use Windows XP and I know I need to upgrade my pc soon as it soons fairly slow, but one of my major problems is that I cannot update my Internet Explorer. I would love to use IE 8 or even IE 7, but everytime I go to install one, once I finish the installation, it says access is denied and reloads me back to IE 6. There is only two users on this pc, and I have the administrator as the one that I use when I try to upgrade.

Help me please, IE 6 has been acting very buggy as of late and locks up constantly on me.
