Hi everyone. Still very new here and doing some preliminary research.
While reading through the Tutorials I came across the command Netstat. Now while trying to use the command as described in the tutorial, the command opened up an MS Dos window that closes almost immediately as fast as it opens rather than staying open so I can view it.
I am running Windows XP Med center SP2. I have not downloaded SP3 as it locks up on install each time I try it.
I am also dealing with an infection. I know I have the Dumavuja trojan at the very minimum causing popups and have no idea if that is why the MS-Dos window keeps closing.
Anyways, any info would be appreciated as I didn't see any descriptions of this happening.

Oops!
I just figured out I have to open a command prompt rather than type it into the run box.
Seems to be OK now.
