After scanning my system and removing malware from my recycle bin, I started getting an error message whenever I tried to access my C: drive. Searching on the error message, I found out an autorun was being generated- the suggestion was to use autorun eater to clean it out, now I keep getting the popups from autorun eater with the autorun being installed on both drives. THis is the autorun.inf that is being generated:
[autorun]
;cxluehwvlcbdriwzhnxemczveyaqwvyenirmaeqxjksfgkcnwupqvnsbbgf
shellexecute="RECYCLER\S-0-2-44-100002669-100014983-100021415-5802.com c:\"
;zrjpgolezarkozaczqzotzhwdivtnturglgzxibfxjrbpdichmsezxnibfnraxqytridhjatbaoizyihrnxctomcwshnzqy
shell\Open\command="RECYCLER\S-0-2-44-100002669-100014983-100021415-5802.com c:\"
;lzxtkkwgtmwtat
shell=Open

Hijack this had some HKLM files pointing to 85.255.112.127 a site in the Ukraine. I deleted them but haven't been able to stop the autorun.inf generation.

Malwarebytes anti-malware installed but when I click on the icon to start it I don't see any activity and it does not show up in the task manager or process explorer.

Hello! :thumbup2:
My name is Sam and I will be helping you.

In order to see what's going on with your computer I'll ask for you to post various logs from the tools that we will use to resolve your issue. Please also share with me any information about how your computer is reacting and behaving each step of the way as we work through this process.

We need to create an OTListIt2 Report
  • Please download OTListIt2 from here
  • Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the icon on your desktop.
  • Click the "Scan All Users" checkbox.
  • Push the "Run Scan" button.
  • The scan should take just a few minutes.
  • Copy the log that opens up and paste it back here in your next reply.

Posted Image If I have helped you in any way, please consider a donation to help me continue the fight against malware.

Failing to respond back to the person that is giving up their own time to help you not only is insensitive and disrespectful, but it guarantees that you will never receive help from me again. Please thank your helpers and there will always be help here when you need it!
