I'm having issues with trojans and spyware on my laptop. My fiance has been trying to help a friend with her computer and was using a remote connection last night to see what she could do.
I decided to run a spyware scan today. First I ran Ad-aware and had only one result, which was removed. I then ran Spybot, which had found several results but never finished. Each time I've tried to run Spybot, it has crashed. My fiance was able to remove two Trojans using TrendMicro Housecall, but one remained. Something has changed my background to a box that says: WARNING Dangerous Spyware: Following viruses were founded (yes it says founded) on your computer: Trojan horse, PassCapture, and etc. Your private information may be potentially transferred to third parties. Please, check computer using advanced software. Thanks. I also have an icon that is a red circle with an X that pops in my status bar. It pops up with Warning! Security report Your computer is infected! It is recommended to start spyware cleaner tool. If you click on it, it opens up a website for AntivirusXP Pro. Some of my everyday applications such as iTunes freeze upon opening.

Here is my HijackThis log. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide!

New Developments:

A new process has started running in task manager, ftfyhntl2d.exe. There are four occurrences of this process in the list. Internet Explorer is also opening as a process in task manager although it hasn't been used. When surfing the web, it says "google re-direct" in the status bar. I keep getting an error message that says "ntdll64 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." My computer was trying to send an email on it's own to these addresses.

Untitled Message: To: Arheatingandair@frontiernet.net
" " To: shipping handling@shopzilla.com

And then it says in MS Word: A draft of "Untitled Message" has automatically been saved. Do you want to keep

it?

Upon all of this, I have decided to post a new HijackThis log.
