Hi I'm student in librarianship in switzerland. Discovered this forum after searching for a solution to a problem. I subscribed because I prefer to ask advice before changing anything to stuff like registry, my computer knowledge being limited. What else is to say? I know : hi all, thanks for making this forum and I hope I won't break any rule because of my noobness

Having a place where there are many Members with experience and expertise in different (sometimes fairly obscure) areas is always helpful, even to users with a lot of experience. Out of curiosity, what book reference system is used in Switzerland?
Welcome to BC!

Most libraries are using AACR2. But still quite a lot of small or old libraries stick to the ISBD. Really often libraries that are not part of the swiss union catalogue have simplified version of them due to the limited human ressources they have.
