I just installed Ubuntu 9 on my Hp Pavillion dv6812nr. It uses a AR242x wireless card (built in). The light on it is amber and network manager is showing no wireless connections. I downloaded NDISWrapper and installed net5211.inf. I used ndiswrapper -l and it says the driver is installed and hardware is present but nothing is coming up in network manager and the light is still amber. I've restarted and turned the card on and off and have also used sudo modprobe ndiswrapper but nothing is making the light change or the card show up in network manager. Any ideas guys?
