I have a HP pavilion dv6700, has 2 and 1gb sticks, i keep having problems with a bluescreeen and use some mem test software and my 1gb stick always comes up bad, whenever I take the 1gb stick out, it runs fine. I want to upgrade the 1gb stick, just trying to look for something cheap that is 2gb. Can anybody help?

Examples:

http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.asp...v6700z%20Series

Note that these are two slightly different systems noted.

One thing to bear in mind...mixing modules from different manufacturers may not yield the desired result.

Crucial is highly thought of when it comes to RAM.
