Hello. I reinstalled windows and now need to update my drivers for my Averatec 3150 Notebook. I cannot find them anywhere. Averatec has changed their website to TriGem.com but does not have these drivers available for download, the really dont have anything and offer no support. I went into the Devicel manager and tried to have it search for the drivers but it says it cant. Also, although irrelevant my computer keeps on typing L's even without me touching it, I'm constantly deleting L's. Thanks for any help.

This should help you, The full name of the notebook is this "Averatec Magnesium 3150" right? - http://www.driversfix.com/Averatec_Magnesi...s/dev12254.html

Quoted from my search in Google First Link (http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=307245) - http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q...Notebook+Driver

EDIT: Not sure what to suggest about it typing L's though, only thing I can think of is if the key is physically stuck, try pressing it repeatedly for 30 seconds to a minute to see if it loosens a bit, works for me when a key gets jammed a bit. Someone else might drop by and give you something better to try if that doesn't work.

Hey thanks I found that site too, but if you read the bottom it says you must DL a special program which will install it for you. They also used horrible english when saying this, which made me wary of this site. Give it a try though. Thanks.

I didn't take a proper look at the site so didn't know about it saying you needed to download a program, odd that it would ask you to download a program, There doesn't seem to be any other references to your drivers on the Internet based on searching for the laptop.

If those drivers above haven't worked then you might try one of these, I did a bit more research and looked into what Graphics Card or Chipset it may be.

From what I can tell the Video/Graphics Driver seems to be for a Via S3 Graphics Prosavage Chipset, not sure if you can confirm that in anyway, maybe try using this software called SIW it will list a lot of information about your computer take the information under Graphics or Video Adapter - http://www.gtopala.com/siw-download.html

For now if my assumptions are correct that it is this card then try one of these Download links below, The Via one maybe the best one

http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/GRAPHICS-...9425-WHQL.shtml
http://majorgeeks.com/S3_ProSavageDDR_Driver_XP2K_d5023.html - This seems to be the latest version of the Driver.
