hard drive password

hi i have a acer aspire 3660 laptop when powers on it asks for hdd password but user cant remember it i have removed the bios battery 20 mins but this not cleared the problem any ideas

It is against BleepingComputer rules to post infoemation to help circumvent security .

The best anybody can offer is tell the user to put the thinking cap on.
Most people choose passwords they can assocciate with something so sooner or later they should remember it !
