Hello everyone and let me start by thanking you for even clicking the thread and viewing my problem

I recently have cleaned my computer of an infection and was trying to take care of some of the aftermath with instructions from http://miekiemoes.blogspot.com/2008/05/vir...to-restore.html

I have done this before and it worked just fine for me and this time I have gotten the virus alert out of the clock and restored my settings and stuff

where i encounter the problem is when i try to go start>run>regedit it tells me windows cannot find regedit so now i cannot restore my product id

i have tried regedit, regedit.exe, regedit32, regedit32.exe and all of them give me the same message

i appreciate any help you can give me and look forward to your responces

Possible alternative: Remove Restrictions Tool 1.0 - http://www.majorgeeks.com/RRT_Remove_Restr...Tool_d5635.html
