Can anyone tell me how to remove a program from the add/remove programs menu that doesn't want to cooperate  ?

When I click on the change/remove button nothing happens. This is a large program that I used for school a couple of semesters ago and I have no use for it any longer.

I considered simply deleting the file folder, but I don't think that is the best way to remove it.
