I have an issue which is very frustrating I am trying to print a notepad document from my wireless laptop to the HP Deskjet F4240 in my living room, now when I try to print the same exact document from the computer that is wired to the printer it works fine but if i try to print from my laptop a message appears on the living room computer screen saying the "Spooler subsystem app has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience" and then the document never prints. i am running win xp pro on both computers any help would be appreciated!!

Take a look at the following MS KB Article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;324757

However, I MUST CAUTION That potential fixes mentioned in the KB Article, include registry modifications. Before attempting registry edits, BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY. Failure to do so may have dire consequences. If you do not know how to back up your registry see the following: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/...l74.html#backup
