Green Screen

All the video i files are mostly in .avi format, and whenever i play them i seen the video but its in green, like a transparent green, because i can see the actual video. can someone help me out please. i dont know if i need codecs or what

Is it only with vdeo playback or is everything green on the display? If everything is green it indicates one of the primary colour-guns in your monitor tube has 'died'. This is not repairable economically. Only fix is a new monitor.
