Hi everyone, just found this form today. Been in computers a long time, I still have my original and soon to be a classic IBM PC. Years ago my sons kept asking me how to fix something on their computers. Then one day, it all switched around and I had to ask them what to do! How did that happen?

Now using a Gateway laptop. I found BC from a search on Dogpile while looking up some of the strange stuff in my startup, and the info here has been very helpful.

Hey there, haafasst, and welcome to BC!

Hang on to that classic PC! Put Linux on it and you can squeeze a few more years out of it, or donate it to some needy cause.

As for kids asking questions who become the questioned themselves... thus is the circle of life, my friend.
