My first ever post, having joined BC about three weeks ago. What a terrific information resource for tech challenged (read that as, mature) people like myself.

I have already spent hours exploring the website, including orientation center, forums and tutorials (much of which is over my head!).

I am experiencing an Internet Explorer challenge, which I will be posting in "Am I Infected" as soon as I get the courage! And my information organized!

A huge Texas "Thank You" to everyone at BC for your willing attitude, your expertise and your patience in handling what appears to be an endless stream of requests for help!!

Anticipating an interesting learning experience!!

Hey there, texan16, and a big ol' California welcome to BC!

A Texan, huh? I heard once that the name 'Texas' was derived from an Indian word for 'hello.' Any comment on that?

Just mosey on over to that there Am I Infected forum and let 'er rip! We don't stand on no ceremony round these parts.

Hello, Amazing Andrew,
And thanks for the welcome! You are right about the origin of the word "Texas". I've heard "hello" or "hello, friend"! And, to state it more precisely, I am "from Texas". Since June 2002 I have been happily residing in Orange County, CA. I guess that makes us neighbors at some level.
Thanks again for your greeting!
