how to mount and burn dvds

had a dvd rw installed am clueless on how to mount and burn nero burning smart and alcohol is installed

Your question is a bit ambiguous.

Mounting and burning are 2 different things so can you explain exactly what you want to do in a little more detail please?

In general Mounting means inserting a disc into a drive and making it accessible, or with a virtual DVD drive mounting is the same idea but you LOAD a DVD image into virtual drive software to make it accessible.

And obviously burning means to burn the data to a recordable DVD media.
