Hi all!

I started receiving an icon by the clock on the taskbar that would create a window that said it was scanning for viruses. It claimed to be *something* Protector 2009 (I think it was Spyware, but I have not seen it for a couple days). I ran McAfee in safe mode and it deleted some files it claimed to be from the Vundo worm. I removed two items from the startup tab of msconfg: sysguard and dll32. I have also seen a file called ld08.exe which I delete in a script in autoexec.bat.

McAfee also blocked \??\C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe from mass-mailing, due to a mass-mailing worm rule.

Today I started receiving runtime error 216 which caused errors with Windows Explorer and Outlook.
