For last couple of days, I've ran kaspersky several times to wipe whatever that was letting the pop ups in.

When I downloaded webroot and ran it I found out that it was Vundo and couple of spywares that were doing this.

Now I know I have to download couple of programs to delete or quarantine the computer, but I don't have a lot of money or bytes to spare. Furthermore I am absolute amature with computers. Is there an easy and cost effective way of dealing with this mess?

I removed vundo (for free) by running the bitdefender online scan, and then downloading and running nod32. Good luck.
